Energy Clearing is Spiritual Hygiene (Part 1 and Part 2 with Video)

“The secret of healing is the realization that we are pure energy, pure consciousness, a field of intelligence that is entangled with the field of the universe.” – Deepak Chopra

Just as bodily hygiene is crucial to feel good in your skin, spiritual hygiene is necessary to feel balanced and aligned in your inner being. If you have not yet cultivated a habit of spiritual clearing, now is a great time to get started.

Energy clearing is a spiritual practice that involves removing negative energy or blockages from a person, place, or thing. It is based on the idea that everything in the universe is made up of energy, and that this energy can be influenced by outside forces, including thoughts, emotions, and actions.

In the physical body, energy is experienced through the flow of vital life force energy, also known as chi, prana, or qi. This energy is believed to flow through the body’s energy channels, also known as meridians, and is influenced by our thoughts, emotions, and actions. When this energy flow is disrupted, it can result in physical, emotional, or mental imbalances.

In spiritual traditions, there are many things that can cause the spirit body to become imbalanced or in need of cleansing. Here are a few examples:

  1. 1. Negative thoughts and emotions: Anger, fear, or sadness, are believed to create negative energy that can become trapped in the spirit body.
  2. Trauma and stress: Traumatic experiences or prolonged stress can also create negative energy that can become stuck in the spirit body, leading to imbalances and blockages.
  3. Unhealthy habits: Poor diet, lack of exercise, or substance abuse, can also contribute to imbalances in the spirit body.
  4. Environmental factors: Exposure to negative or chaotic environments, such as a cluttered or disorganized living space, can also affect the energy of the spirit body.
  5. Spiritual disconnection: Disconnecting from one’s spiritual practice or losing touch with one’s sense of purpose or connection to the divine can also create imbalances in the spirit body.

In addition to its use in individual healing, energy clearing can also be used to clear negative energy from physical spaces, such as homes or workplaces. This is often done to create a more positive and harmonious environment, and to remove any lingering negative energy from previous occupants or events.

Where does the negative energy go when it is cleared? One belief is that negative energy is transmuted into positive energy that can be used for healing and growth. Another belief is that negative energy is released into the universe and dissipated. Still, others believe that negative energy is simply neutralized and rendered harmless. In my experience, I define what I want the energy to do. I take authority over the energy and intentionally change it from one state to another, knowing that what I declare to be done, is so.

I also recommend doing your energy clearing in the Akashic Records. In my workshops, classes and CHI Community Membership I offer clearings within the Akashic Records that heal the energetic imprint for lasting change on all levels.

You can also use tools that assist in energy clearing. Here are some examples of physical objects that are commonly used:

  1. Crystals: Many types of crystals and gemstones are believed to have properties that can help clear or balance the energy of the body or environment. They are often placed on or around the body or used to create a grid for energy clearing.
  2. Palo Santo and other herbs: Burning palo santo or other herbs, such as white pine, is a common practice for clearing negative energy in the environment. This practice, known as smudging, is believed to help release any negative energy and promote a more positive energy flow.
  3. Essential oils: Essential oils are sometimes used in energy clearing practices for their aromatherapy properties. Certain oils, such as lavender or peppermint, are believed to promote feelings of calm and balance.
  4. Sound instruments: Various sound instruments, such as singing bowls, gongs, or chimes, are used in energy clearing practices for their ability to produce vibrations that can help release blocked energy.
  5. Salt: Salt is often used in energy clearing practices, either by sprinkling it around a space or taking a salt bath. This is believed to help release any negative energy and promote a more positive energy flow.

In general, it is recommended to listen to your own intuition and inner guidance when it comes to spiritual energy clearing. If you feel that you are carrying heavy or negative energy, or if you are feeling stuck or stagnant, it may be a good time to engage in an energy clearing practice.
